• The sea levels reached the present level about this time and the heart-shaped coastline of this island Trouwunna was formed. 
• Their stories of creation changed from the long walk across the Bassian Plain to the pathway in the sky where Ancestral Beings walked across the Milky Way. It seems that this story of two stars creating the landscape and all living things was universal in Trouwunna according to Woorrady and Mannalargenna.
• This is interesting considering that many cultural practices continued to be diverse around Trouwunna throughout the 10,000 year period.
• When Europeans first arrived along the shores from 1642 it ended the 10,000 years of isolation from the rest of humankind for the First Tasmanians.
