About Land and Sea Aboriginal Council of Tasmania (LSACT)
LSACT is a corporation established under the Corporations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006 (CATSI Act).
LSACT has completed two years in a commercial cultural fisheries enterprise, with support from the Indigenous Land and Sea Corporation (ILSC) and the Tasmanian Government. LSACT is leveraging off this initial undertaking by further training and business opportunities in cultural fisheries and tourism for Tasmanian Aboriginal people.
LSACT through our ‘Wave to Plate’ program is expanding its operations and provide employment, education and training opportunities in the fisheries, maritime, hospitality, tourism, land and sea country industries for Aboriginal people living in Tasmania.
