This free webinar outlines Reconciliation Tasmania’s Reconciliation in Education services.
Our Reconciliation in Education program is a partnership with Reconciliation Australia. This program is available to all schools and early learning services, whether public, private, or not-for-profit. It aims to foster a high level of knowledge and pride in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, and contributions.
In this information session, we will:
- introduce you to the Professional Development and Curriculum resources available free of charge on the Narragunnawali – Reconciliation in Education web platform
- tell you about our annual Youth Speak Out art competition – free entry for all students in years 5-12
- outline how your school or early learning service can develop a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) for strengthening relationships, respect and opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people – in the classroom, around the school / centre and with your community
- tell you about services that Reconciliation Tasmania provides to support schools and early learning services on your reconciliation journey.
The webinar will include time for questions and answers.
