About National Reconciliation Week
National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.
In 2019 Reconciliation Tasmania planned two core events to celebrate NRW and bring Tasmanians together. The first of these events was a Breakfast in each of the three regions and the second event was an ‘On-Country’ Day in each of the three regions.
The key note speaker for the breakfast events was Peter Yu and the speech Peter gave was well received by all in attendance. Click here to download a copy of the Reconciliation Week speech delivered by Peter Yu
