Youth Mob
Youth Mob is now in its second year and is a youth network for Aboriginal people aged 14-24 living in southern Tasmania. The two-year pilot program is autonomous, and youth led. That’s right. YOU can help create and shape YOUR mob and learn about leadership, mentoring, enterprise development, public speaking, event organisation and connecting with culture.

Murrayfield Camp, Bruny Island
Pack your gear for two nights, join an Aboriginal Elder and Aboriginal Facilitators, explore country, learn men’s and women’s business, hunt and cook bush tucker and so much more. The Shearer’s Quarters at Murrayfield are booked!

Murrayfield has over 500 cultural sites and was originally the home of Truganini and her people the Nuenonne. Murrayfield is a sheep station and recently independent control was given to local Aboriginal group Weetapoona Aboriginal Corporation.

Elder Uncle Rodney Dillon along with his son Luke and daughter Bron of wayti Culture and Knowledge will host us on their lands for the camp.

Non-Aboriginal people are welcome if they are supporting a young First Nations person.

Thanks to our supporters the Tasmanian Government and the MyState Foundation.
