Performances across Tasmania featuring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander persons


Below is a summary of some of the events showcasing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander performers and culture in Tasmania.  This is not an exhaustive list.  These events are coordinated by the various organisations, so please contact the relevant group for details and to RSVP. Mannalargenna Day Celebration 2018

Hosted by Melythina Tiakana Warrana Aboriginal Corporation, Mannalargenna Day is a respectful, family-friendly   and culturally safe event that celebrates culture, community and Country. All are welcome.

Delicious cultural food tasters will be shared, however, please pack a picnic lunch.

The weather can be unpredictable, so please pack for sunshine or rain!

When: Saturday 1 December

Time: 9.30 am – 10pm

Where: Tebrakunna Visitors Centre, Little Musselroe Bay, Cape Portland, North East Tasmania

How to get to there

Follow the map directions to Gladstone and head north to Little Musselroe Bay.


Two camping areas are open to the public at nearby Petal Point and Little Musselroe Bay. Camping and/or accommodation is available at Scottsdale, Tomahawk, Bridport, Derby, Branxholm and St Helens.
